Aaron Hilliard of Mushroom Wonderland!

The talk Aaron will be giving is about the most popular spring mushroom, and maybe the most culinarily sought after mushroom in the world, the Morel. Aaron will explain the history, the taxonomy, the life cycle, the regional native species, hunting burn morels, look-alikes, and so much more.

Aaron Hilliard is a Pacific Northwest native and has been foraging and studying mushrooms for over 30 years. He teaches mycology courses at Olympic College in Bremerton Washington. He hosts wild mushroom foray tours on the Kitsap Peninsula, served as Vice President of the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society for several years,  and runs a YouTube channel dedicated to wild mushrooms with 90,000+ subscribers.
